Katrina asked me to go to Jo Ann's with her today and I was all "Yeah sure, not like I can buy anything because my sewing machine is packed..." Yeah, right. I got through the store without even flinching until I saw two 18 x 24 canvases for 5 dollars. That is INSANE! I immediately thought: WALL ART. For the kids room. I found the amazing fabric in boy AND girl colours and it has now set the entire palette for their room. My new favorite project.
For those who are wondering, all you do is stretch the fabric really tight across the canvas, tuck it under and I used thumbtacks and nails to secure it.
That's exactly what I did to make Karleigh's headboard ;) Those look great!
