My man came home today! The kids and I scurried about and decorated everything in red, white and blue (because he isn't going to be here for the fourth this year) and i made him his OLD MAN cake. Honestly, who asks for SPICE CAKE on their birthday? People who smell like moth balls, that's who. Weird. It's nice to have him home, even if it's for a week.
ive had a SPICE CAKE every year on my birthday for 40 years. my favorite cake. chip off the old block.
