Day One.
So in the past two weeks or so we have slept in Boston and Philly and I think I peed in every state in between that. About four days after we finally got the keys to our new home, I had everything unpacked and decorated because I have a little bit of experience with moving. There is still a massive pile of paper sitting in our dining room, in place of a table, but other than that we finally have our routine going. And I've been cooking my head off.
Needless to say, the kids are elated to have their daddy back. Jude is pretty indifferent because he's Jude and only care about hotdogs and cars but he has been watching basketball a lot more than he used to.
I love South Carolina. It's just the right amount of country for me. And it's close to Myrtle Beach. We already went and it was one backroad highway to get there. It's nice not feeling so trapped like we did in Montana. And we are pretty close to Rhode Island, so we hopefully won't ever have to fly there. Here's a glimpse of what our drive home from base is like. xoxo, Mandie
