I have finally taken on the challenge of the homemade apple pie. Crust and all. I wanted to make Nama something special for her birthday and ventured into Pioneer Woman heaven; aka her dessert section. I don't know how she stays under 500 pounds, honestly. I'm pretty sure this is going to be my signature dessert from now on.
