I've always been a creative person, I'm a Pisces, it's what we do. But I have never considered myself a "crafty" person. I actually used to think of a country gift store filled with crap when I thought of crafts. And I hate country and crap, so I was never into handmaking anything.

Then I had children. Not only are crafts cheap but they are so much fun to do with the kids! We are going 100% handmade for Christmas. I spent around 20 dollars today and got four very cute, very personal gifts out of it. I'm no Martha Stewart but it is interesting to channel my creativity in a craft way.

I am now addicted to my hot glue gun. Pretty soon I'm going to start gluing the cats together.
